May 17, International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia

First, the students made information and awareness-raising posters on LGBT and homophobia (history and current events, politics and law, spheres of life) in general and in particular at school.

Then, some students made a leaflet about May 17 in the world, key figures, information about associations fighting against homophobia (websites, phone numbers)

Finally, the school nurse contacted a professional to organise a conference on the subject.

Production

The posters were first displayed on 17 May in the school's student centre. All students and staff of the school were able to see the exhibition freely for a fortnight.

Then, the flyers were made available to all, students and staff, in different places of the school.

On the morning of 17 May, several students from the class made solidarity ribbons which they distributed at the entrance of the school.

Finally, a conference on LGBT and LGBTphobia was organised for volunteer students, led by a doctor from family planning, a sexologist from the hospital and members of a local LGBT association
