MFIT Knowledge and principles of CLIL 6
01 déc. 2021Megan asked us : What are thinking skills ?
We gave the following examples: Making connections, Comparing, asking questions, summarizing, evaluating, inferring
She gave us the solution of classification of 6, with rainbow's colors :
Evaluating / Understanding / Remembering / Applying/ Creating/ Analyzing
We had to practice our knowledge with the following exercise
Exercise : Classify these skills in order from the lowest to the hardest challenge
Creating (Hardest)/ Evaluating/ Analyzing
→ HOTS (Higher order thinking skill)
Applying/ Understanding/ Remembering (Lowest)/ Bloom's taxonomy
→ LOTS (Lower order thinking skill)
In order to do the exercise, we had ten sentences linked with scholar situations, classifying them between HOTS and LOTS.
Can you link these thinking skills to technology? Was the last and not the least question.
